MV Agricultural Society
Established in 1859 the MVAS is dedicated to promoting the pursuit of agriculture, horticulture and land conservation in our community. The 2009 Agricultural Society Fair will be held August 20, 21, 22 and 23.

  • Slow Food Martha’s Vineyard
    Martha’s Vineyard has its own convivium (chapter) of Slow Food, a non-profit, eco-gastronomic member-supported international organization founded in 1989; they organize events for members and the community. “We advocate sustainability and biodiversity through educational events and promote the consumption of seasonal and local foods. We support our local farmers, fishers, artisans and everyone who supports local food.”
